To reserve Fitchburg Riverfront Park for your personal, organizational or corporate use, please begin by calling the Fitchburg Riverfront Park Foundation (FRPF) at 978-345-9602 or emailing Riverfront@net1plus.com about availability of the date(s) you are interested in. Date(s) can only be reserved for five days without payment of fee. Payment of fee guarantees date(s) for your use. Click here for a reservation form.
Fitchburg Riverfront Park is a quasi-municipal park. You will need to talk to both the FRPF and the city of Fitchburg's various departments.
Your second step (after reserving the Park) is to fill out the first two pages of a Request for Public Safety Review of Public Assembly Event form and submit it to Mr. Michael Spano, Fitchburg Fire Department, 33 North Street, Fitchburg, MA 01420 (general phone: 978-345-9660), email: mspano@fitchburgfire.org. He will guide you through the process and requirements.
The FRPF will assist you with booking of dates, logistics and access. You are advised to make an appointment with the Fitchburg Redevelopment Authority as soon as possible if you will need to drive any stakes, or if you will require electrictiy or water. FEES: Please note that Riverfront Park is maintained by the FRPF through donations and grants. Your small fee helps us cover these costs as well as the electricity, water and porta-potties available for your use.
$100 per day, refundable in a case of inclement weather.
$50 key deposit, refundable with return of keys.
Riverfront Park's role in your event is strictly in providing you access to the Park and its amenities on your reserved dates.
